Welcoming Spring

Happy Easter!

Although this years Spring Equinox may have been slightly derailed by the Beast from the East, we can't help but start getting excited for the sun to come out! With the days getting longer and the days getting (hopefully) warmer, spring has truly sprung. One member of the Zennor Glass team is particularly fond of this time of year, after an exciting few days in London, we caught up with the lovely Ming to talk about why Spring is her favourite time of year.

• Why Spring is so beautiful

The best thing about spring is just the thought of it really makes me smile, it’s such a happy, bright and optimistic season. Here are a few reasons why spring is such a beautiful season:

• Longer Days ☀️☀️☀️

I’m sure most of us don’t appreciate loosing an hour of sleep when the clocks go forward and the sun shines through our windows at 5am but it means that there is so much more you can do during the day! It’s great to be able to spend more time outdoors as the days become longer; you can go on evening walks on beach without having to worry about it getting pitch black within a few minutes of leaving the front door.

• FLOWERS! 🌼🌼🌼

No other season can quite beat spring when it comes to the flowers blossoming! Although we may get April showers but with all that rain also comes bright green grass and blooming flowers. From pink cherry blossoms to magnolias and bright yellow daffodils to colourful tulips! Nothing is more beautiful than the array of colours that flowers give us during spring time.

• Spring Cleaning 🗑️🧥☕

There are certainly mixed opinions on spring cleaning but you must admit that the feeling after it’s done is quite unique to the season of spring. It’s time to throw away all those old sweaters, dust the shelves and organise that desk! And after it’s all done reward yourself with a good old pat on the back and a cup of tea.

If the April showers are still getting you down and you’re still not too keen on Spring then at least you know that Summer is only a few more months away!
